Breathe.

ekham. inhale.

dve. exhale.

The journey start or continue. We are here to live it. The question are we ready? Are we?

Obviously we are. Ready? That´s another thing....

It is a good moment with these new year plans that we like to do that they will include not only material but also the spiritual. love, peace, remembering that we are not here only in order to sit in front of the T.V. , telephone or any other instrument or a virtual manner and that nature is right out there, the sun, the earth, the ocean, the mountain, the sky, the trees, the animals, the plants, the real, the present, the essential. Enough with so much fantasy.

We have work to do and every time it is more urgent.

So, come, come, come, stand on the mat and take a big inhalation ans exhale a big OM  and let it vibrate inside your heart. Nobody can save you but yourself and the solution is within you and only within you. That is the true reality of things. The THINGS will not provide that for you. Dare every time a little more. We will give you a ahnd and help you step by step in this process of re - cognize yourself.  this process reminds you of your inner force where absolute and total independence and freedom resides. But first thing first, you have to put order at home. There is cleaning and taking out the garbage. And even disinfect in order to see with sharpness and perceive with clarity

NAMASTE

At Ashtanga Yoga Sitges we practice and share with our student's community traditional Ashtanga Yoga according to the teachings of Sri K. Patthabi Jois.

Tammy Hervitz, founder and director of the Shala is a Yoga teacher since 2001 and has been practicing on a daily basis since 1999.

In 2003, together with her husband Marcelo, they founded the very first Ashtanga yoga school in Sitges and one of the first ones in Spain - a very personal place, full of light and love, where yoga practitioners come 6 weeks a week to join led classes and Mysore self-practice.

About

Ashtanga          Sitges

The practice of Yoga is designed to helpus, practitioners to come back home, inside, “back to the centre”, to the source.

It makes us stronger and more flexible; bodymind speaking.

If you ever took a yoga class then you know this feeling of harmony and peace you feel after you finish your practice, even if it lasts just for a few minutes. This is how the practice makes us tune in, restart, recycle, cleanse and flow. It is like cleaning the crystals of your glasses in order to see well.

Patience is a wonderful gift. A tool of many uses. For various body-mind needs. We are all running around in circles not finding a moment rest. Practice teaches how to use your energy correctly. How to relax into ourselves, how to be present in that moment; any moment.

Right now observe. No past, no future, no stories, no identity, no bullshit, no gossip. Just ourselves. Relaxing on the mat. Steady and comfortably.

This can teach us how to find peace in the middle of a storm. How many storms did we live during our life? Some lived, some seen from aside, some heard of, some nonexistent even.

And so are we.

"Yoga, as a way of life and a philosophy, can be practiced by anyone with inclination to undertake it, for yoga belongs to humanity as a whole. It is not the property of any one group or any one individual, but can be followed by any and all, in any corner of the globe, regardless of class, creed or religion.”
