About the event

9 October 2021 – 19 December 2021

6 weekend meetings

A proposal to further investigate the practice of Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and learn what Ayurveda medicine offers to support life and practice.

Yoga and Ayurveda have been developing together for more than 5,000 years.

They consider themselves sisters and even twins. Together they offer medicine, psychology, alchemy, spiritual practice, self-knowledge, science, art, physical, energetic and physiological practice, many small guidelines for physical, mental and emotional well-being, the three components of holistic and integral health.

At the core of both is returning to our nature of peace, love, and happiness.

Return to Sat Chit Ananda, existence, awareness, bliss, return home.

The objective of this course is to help the practitioner to incorporate a daily practice into the daily routine in an effective healthy, balanced and happy way for life.

"Primary care" in Ayurveda treats the mind and the digestive system. The brain and the intestine. The two brains. First you have to balance and continue to balance the body-mind that is constantly changing, putting it at bay. Without this effort it is difficult to reach peace and silence and see ourselves as we really are. It is what the two propose to us. Tools to return inside and be happy.

David Swenson once said that the purpose of Yoga practice is to fill you with enough Prana to go outside and make the world a better place.

Food is an important part of comprehensive health and can facilitate or hinder when practicing. When we talk about food we talk about food, drink, air, energy, emotions, feelings, thoughts, absolutely everything is food.

For this reason we see it important to include in this course an invitation to Ayurveda (the knowledge of life)

You will learn lifestyle (Charyas), Nutrition, home remedies, cooking, Ayurveda massage and beauty.

The set of Yoga and Ayurveda helps you to better understand nature, the human being and yourself, based on your own experience.

We will first train as practitioners by deepening our knowledge and improving our relationships with ourselves and with others. We will study the difficulties that appear in daily practice and we will share our experiences.

Start practicing every day and your life will start to revolve around it.
